MindShield ... Mind-Body Bridging 

Mind-Body Bridging is a technique developed by researchers in the 1990s that is recommended for individuals who have experienced trauma.  Regular exposure to trauma can cause the flight or fight or freeze mode to stay "on", so that our bodies believe there is a threat, even when one is not present. Mind-Body Bridging provides techniques for the brain to support and heal itself. 


MindShield is is based on Mind-Body Bridging.  It is effective because it views BrainBurn™ & Trauma as a training issue, not a mental health problem.  MindShield is a research-backed intervention on mindfulness, designed for first responders, emergency personnel, and anyone who has experienced frequent or intense stress or trauma in their lives.
