KETAMINE THERAPY FOR COUPLES
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a legal, evidence-based option for those seeking additional help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other issues where they feel "stuck." Ketamine is a drug that has been used safely for decades. Recently, it has been found to provide a short-lived but potentially powerful "break from the obsessions of your mind." This experience can offer the opportunity to work through personal issues that are holding you back. During treatment, your mind and body do the work, and then you process the experience with me. A series of six therapeutic sessions is recommended. At this time, we offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy exclusively for couples in the Salt Lake City area.
A medical screening and intake are required to ensure that Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is safe and appropriate for both of you. This screening can be conducted virtually with our clinical partner. Additionally, you will need to meet with both our clinical partner and me for the first ketamine infusion to establish the optimal dose for you.
The series of six therapeutic sessions, held in a beautiful and welcoming space, will include:
-
Setting intentions
-
Guided breathwork and meditation to help you achieve the right mindset and be present in your body
-
Various tools and information to support your increased awareness, including journaling, nutrition, exercise, and sleep
-
Weighted blankets, eye masks, sound-canceling headphones, and curated acoustic music to provide the best experience
-
An assisted psychedelic experience with me and other trained professionals to guide you through your personal journey with the medicine
-
An opportunity to reflect and integrate the experience, allowing you to gently ease out of the session before returning to your daily activities

Each KAP session is approximately 2.5 hours long. A one-hour clinical therapy session with me is recommended after sessions 3 and 5. The overall schedule would look like this:
